Interesting Art Places in Hartford

When you think of Hartford, art is hardly the first thing that comes to your mind, we know that but the irony is that a large part of Hartford is involved in a very active art and culture movement. Hence, over the years, you will see interesting sprouting of art-related and art-themed attractions, locations and businesses all around Hartford’s downtown metropolis. So, if you are into art, culture or lifestyle, you are going to have to bring the rented Hartford charter bus around to some of these awesome tourist attractions.

Interestingly, Wadsworth Atheneum, or just Wadsworth, is the country’s very first public museum and it is also one of the few to feature both French and American impressionist paintings under one roof. Visitors are treated to a wide range of impressionist paintings from renowned artists who are both local and of international acclaim. What makes the visit more interesting is knowing that some of these pieces are ‘visiting’ pieces which means that it might not be around anymore the next time you make your way to the museum.
